Klippieskraal allow visitors to truly experience the African Bush – viewing a wide variety of wildlife from the comfort of your own private camp! Situated in the North West Province and in the heart of the Bushveld, Klippieskraal is a 120 hectares Private Game Farm only 1 hour away from Pretoria and 25 minutes away from Brits.
Come and visit nature at its best, the lodge is overlooking an earth dam with abundance of wildlife.
The play area for kids include a trampoline and swings, you can also bring your own bicycles to take an early morning or late afternoon ride or hike through the bush.
On your trip you have a good chance of seeing blesbuck, blue wildebeest, golden wildebeest, impala, eland, giraffe, kudu, nyala, oryx, waterbuck, zebra and many more.
Or you can cool off and relax in the pool with a cocktail in the hand, while viewing the game from the swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy ‘boeresport’ on the lawns and spent quality time together.
We are also the perfect venue for your special occasion, birthdays, year-end functions, family reunion or just weekend away with friends!
Game drives can be provided on prior arrangement with the lodge.
The Entire Lodge Accommodation Consist of:
The lodge is rented out, exclusively to one group at a time ensuring the privacy of our guests. We offer self-catering accommodation for approximately 8 to 40 guests.
This is divided into 4 rooms, each with their own bathroom and kitchenette (sleeps 18 in total), there is also caravan stands and/or you can bring your own tents.
The rooms are located next to each other
Room One – Francolin Room
1 x Double bed and 1 x bunk bed, on-suite bathroom and kitchenette. (sleeps 4)
Room Two – Partridge Room
1 x Double bed and 1 x bunk bed, on-suite bathroom and kitchenette. (sleeps 4)
Room Three – Duck Room
1 x Double bed and 1 x bunk bed, on-suite bathroom and kitchenette. (sleeps 4)
Room Four – Dove Room (this room has 2 bedrooms)
1 x Double bed and 2 x bunk bed, on-suite bathroom and kitchenette. (sleeps 6)
The small kitchenette in each room includes a bar fridge, kettle and coffee mugs to enjoy early morning coffee on the ‘stoep‘ at the table outside your room.
The camping facilities:
The lodge has a large communal area, ideal for enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner as a group, with a boma, outside and inside braai areas. The inside braai area is fitted with large stacking doors that can be opened or closed depending on the season to provide comfort for all types of weather.
Facilities include WiFi, Solar Power and full DSTV.
The rooms are serviced daily (except for Sundays) and linen is provided for the double and single beds. Please bring your own towels for swimming and bathing as this is not included.
